The UOTeachOUT BBQueer staff of 2015 consisted of 26 undergraduate seniors majoring in UO’s Educational Foundations, 5 master’s degree students in the teacher licensure program, 6 doctoral students in the CSSE program and the entire faculty of the Department of Education Studies.

FOOD: Dr. Jerry Rosiek’s award winning Pork-n-Stein BBQ pulled pork sliders were served up by Education Studies students and faculty. BBQ included the vegetarian mushroom and cabbage based sauteed slider option.

LIBATIONS: Claim 52 Brewery provided an array of non-alcoholic and microbrewed beverage options and donated profits to the BBQueer cause.

SILENT AUCTION:  $1,000 in profits came from guests bidding on amazing gift baskets donated by local and regional businesses wanting to support the Pink Prom and GSA Youth Leadership opportunities.
UOTeachOUT student teams and community supporters collected items and hosted the silent auction table filled with valuable community business donations for BBQ guests who made a donation and walked away with a treat as well!
